Jim Landwehr lives and works in Waukesha, Wisconsin just west of Milwaukee. He enjoys writing humorous, heartfelt memoir as well as poetry and fiction. His book, Dirty Shirt: A Boundary Waters Memoir, was published in June of 2014 by eLectio Publishing. His nonfiction work has been published in Boundary Waters Journal, MidWest Outdoors Magazine and Forge Journal. He has also had poetry published in Torrid Literature Journal, Verse Wisconsin, Echoes Journal, Wisconsin People and Ideas, and many others.
Jim is married to Donna who is self-employed as a personal chef for Donna's Delectables. They have two teenage children Sarah and Benjamin. He is of the thinking that having two teens in the house is fodder for a book unto itself someday. He also has two cats, Chester and Isabelle, and a crazed Cairn Terrier dog, Toby, who seems to have a brain parasite most days. All of this, plus a full time job, keeps him busy and is the source of all his happiness.
